Inside the cab, sound levels are 5 dB lower than in the previous 745C. The Cat C18 ACERT engine, rated at 504 HP (375 kW), meets U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final/EU Stage IV emissions standards. A new economy mode cuts fuel consumption an average of 5 percent when the truck is not required to operate at full payload.
